Derek Muterspaw is a vaudevillian at heart and a veteran of various theatrical endeavors all over the Northeast… from musicals & dinner theatre to improv comedy & short films… in a career that spans over 25 years. However, it’s as Mr. PoppinTwist that Derek has gained his greatest renown. Over the last decade, Mr. PoppinTwist has brought his whimsical brand of fun to folks all over. He has brought that little something special to events far and wide and he loves to merge his work with his love of wrestling and comics and overall pop culture. Mr Poppintwist is gaining quite a following as THE balloon twister of the sports entertainment world with his inclusion in the SUPERSHOW card game, appearances at local wrestling shows and a photo gallery on wwe.com. Many photos of his pieces are regularly shared on social media by fans & subjects alike! His appearance on the AMC series COMIC BOOK MEN has(Season 7, episode 11) met with positive reactions as well.  When not entertaining fans with his balloon work or story-telling ventures, Derek spends most of his time in the role of husband to his lovely wife Alice and father to two great kids, Dylan and Paige.
